Public Transportation

Have you ever found in yourself desires that nothing in this world can satisfy? Well if so I must conclude that you were not made for here my friend. For myself I have some issues dealing with this idea. We are instinctively and painfully human. We act like everything revolves around us. We feel the trees make nicer firewood than a home for a family of bushy-tailed squirrels. Driving two blocks away is more important to us than conserving natural energy. We have definetly made ourselves nice and comfortable haven’t we?
Humans since the beginning of time have lived and left this earth like a subway station. People are always boarding the subway, but people are always leaving it also. No one person plans to stay aboard for much longer than necessary. We have somewhere more important to be than loitering in overcrowded and sometimes smelly subway cars. Which brings me to my next topic: Are you the loiterer? Are you hanging around, waiting. Well let me tell you brothers and sisters. Out ride is NOT a long one! We are only given a short amount of time, and a small corner of space to spend our time, bumping and rocking around the musty cabin, and sometimes lethal railway. BUT we can do so much more with our time than what it may seem.
How will you improve your small corner of a very big subway? God put us in this situation not to leave you! Dear ones he loves you immensely and wants you ALL to himself! But you have to decide for yourself what will occupy your time. Your crinkle in the long road of eternity. Your opportunity to live for Christ. Spread his love to unsuspecting passengers, preach his word to all aboard. It’s all up to you. Will you accept the challenge? Because MAN does Jesus want you to.
So, what will you be busy with on YOUR transit home?
